At South Pacific Aviation (SPATI) we believe in preparing pilots for a professional career in aviation and all our training is focused towards producing pilots of the highest standard of excellence.

Graduates of SPATI may be eligible for consideration for employment within its group of companies subject to demonstration of continued excellence during their training.

Typical careers progression following successful completion of CPL, MEIR, ATPL could include initial employment with SPATI as Ground-Crew including ground school instructing, general admin & flight operations.

Selected SPATI graduates may be invited to apply for our Flight Instructor program. This involves additional training to qualify as a Flight Instructor. Successful graduates from the Flight Instructor program may be considered for employment with SPATI as Qualified Flight Instructors (QFI)
Another employment stream is available with SPATIs affiliated Airline -NORTHERN AIR-Fijis premier domestic airline.

Northern Air requires new pilots on a regular basis and their preferred recruitment pool is the best of SPATI graduates.

With a CPL, MEIR AND ATPL THEORY , plus a small amount of experience , abundant employment opportunities for pilots exist In the South Pacific and around the world. A career of a pilot is exciting and rewarding providing a lifestyle of travel and comfort, which many can only dream about. To work abroad, pilots may need to convert their Fiji License to the equivalent license of the country in which they wish to operate. This may require additional training and studies. Each country has its own rules of conversion of foreign licenses.
